01 / FROM INTEREST TO OPPORTUNITY

Make the next job
easier to win.

Your customer should be able to find the right service, see why you’re a fit and reach someone who can help. We connect those steps, then give your team a clear way to follow through.

01 / ATTRACT THE RIGHT INQUIRIES

Show what you do.
Give people a reason to call.

A website that explains your services and service area. SEO, social content and managed ads that put that message in front of the customers you want to reach.

  • Website & service pages
  • SEO & local search
  • Organic social & paid-ad management
02 / HANDLE THE FIRST CONTACT

Busy on a job?
Keep the inquiry in view.

Bring calls and forms into one customer record. Set the next action, alert the right person and use missed-call replies, chat or AI voice where the setup supports them.

  • CRM & team notifications
  • Missed-call recovery
  • Chat / AI voice where eligible
03 / FOLLOW THROUGH

Know which quotes
need a follow-up.

Keep inquiries, quotes and next steps together. Follow up on open opportunities, stop messages when appropriate and review which jobs or contracts were won.

  • Quote follow-up & stop rules
  • Inquiry sources & recorded outcomes
  • Monthly review & next priorities

Services vary by offer and are scoped in your written proposal. Ad spend and custom work are extra. Phone, messaging, chat and AI voice depend on account eligibility, setup and approved consent and routing.

02 / SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

You missed the call.
Keep the opportunity open.

A service request, a hauling inquiry, an equipment quote: each needs a clear next step. Walk through this example to see what can happen automatically and where your team takes over.

Interactive example only. No call, message or CRM action is sent.

04 / WORK DIRECTLY WITH EVAN

Talk to the person
doing the work.

A grubstake gives someone the backing to get to work. That’s the idea behind Grubstake Partners: practical support for the business you’re building.

I’m Evan. My background is around equipment, the oilpatch and the farm. From Whitehorse, I bring that practical perspective to websites and marketing for Canadian trades and industrial service businesses.

I lead the work and use AI tools to support delivery. Your business details, marketing and customer-facing workflows get human review.

05 / START WITH A CLEAR PICTURE

Find the gaps.
Choose what to fix first.

We look at what a customer sees, how they contact you and what happens after the inquiry. You get a practical list of priorities for your website, marketing and follow-up.

  1. 01

Is it clear why you’re the right fit?

Services, service area, real project photos and verified business details.

  2. 02

Is it easy to ask for the work?

Phone numbers, mobile pages, forms and the path to the right person.

  3. 03

Does every open inquiry have a next step?

Who responds, which quotes need follow-up and how outcomes are recorded.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

Before we
get to work.

Do you work with businesses like mine?

Grubstake is built for Canadian trades and industrial services, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and related services, excavation, trucking, oil and gas, mining services and heavy equipment. We start with the work you want, the territory you serve and how customers choose a provider.

Is advertising spend included?

Ad management is included in every tier. The money paid to the ad platforms is separate. We agree on the campaign, audience, content and budget before launch.

What do I own, and what happens if I leave?

Before you commit, the written agreement will spell out your website, domain, content, customer data, accounts, exports and hosted automations, along with contract length and cancellation terms.

Will AI answer every call?

AI voice is available only where the account and setup support it. We agree on what it can answer, when it routes to your team and how consent is handled. Scope, pricing and job acceptance stay with your team unless you explicitly authorize otherwise.

Do you guarantee leads, rankings or exclusive territory?

No. We offer no lead-volume, ranking, revenue or territory-exclusivity guarantee. We can define the work, track inquiries and recorded outcomes, and use that information to decide what to improve.

What do you need from us?

Your services, service area, contact details, real photos you have permission to use and one person to approve the work. Share existing account details if you have them; starting from scratch is fine. Account access is arranged through secure invitations.

SEE THE WORK

Make the deliverables
easier to picture.

Illustrative example—not client work or results. Actual deliverables, including any reporting, depend on your agreed scope.

EXAMPLE / SERVICE PAGE

A page that answers the next question.

A sample layout for a trades service page: the job you handle, the area you serve, evidence you can substantiate and a clear way to ask about the work.

  • Service and customer fit
  • Process, dependencies and limits
  • Real project photos you have rights to share, where available
  • Contact details and a clear next step

A layout example, not a completed client page or a promise of rankings.

EXAMPLE / SOCIAL PLAN

Useful subjects, with an approval step.

An illustrative four-post plan counted within your monthly total could cover a service explanation, a common customer question, a project photo you have rights to share and what to prepare before an inquiry.

  • Audience and purpose for each post
  • Draft copy and media you have rights to share
  • Agree who reviews the content before publishing
  • Your written proposal confirms the scope and limits

Example topics only. The agreed monthly total is 4, 8 or 12 posts across all platforms, according to the selected tier.

EXAMPLE / REVIEW TEMPLATE

Separate what happened from what to try.

A blank review template can organize the work completed, the inquiries and outcomes actually recorded, open questions and the next proposed priorities.

  • Completed work and supporting evidence
  • Recorded outcomes, with data gaps identified
  • Items needing your input or decision
  • Proposed next work, within agreed scope

No sample performance figures or client results. This template is illustrative; reporting deliverables are confirmed in your proposal.

Examples explain the approach. They do not add services, deadlines, revision allowances or reporting commitments to your agreement.
